After being recommended to try glamping, we finally had a free weekend to come and try it! It was a lot of fun! First, after arriving, the lovely staff gave us some delicious coffee to drink and get some energy after driving..
After relaxing a little bit and drinking the coffee, we decided to try the canoes. It was quite difficult, though..
I think I need to practice more and try again sometime.. Then, we walked around the river and did some rock skipping. It's been a while since the last time I tried to skip rocks, but I managed to at least skip it 3
times..!
After adventuring to the river, it was time for dinner! We picked up meat on the way to the glamping resort and were provided with a grill and a bottle of wine by the staff!
The next day got off to a semi-late start due to exhaustion from driving the previous day.. Breakfast was provided by the staff. Then, we were able to try riding an ATV! Usually there are other ATV-type vehicles available to ride, but they weren't working over the weekend, so we tried riding the ATV.. It was quite fun and quite muddy!
Unfortunately, because we had to drive to Busan for our next stop on our roadtrip, we didn't have much time to do other activities. I will definitely have to come again soon and will leave more time to try more things at the glamping resort!
Anyway, I definitely recommend making the trip to Gangwondo to try glamping if you are ever in need of a weekend away from the city!!
